Cracker Toffee

Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with foil, making sides with foil if necessary.
- Arrange 40 saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar into the melted butter and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Drizzle the sugar-butter mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 14 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips and paraffin over hot water until smooth.
- Remove the baked crackers from the oven and spread the melted chocolate mixture evenly over them.
- Immediately sprinkle finely chopped pecans over the chocolate layer.
- Allow the toffee to cool completely, then break into pieces and serve.
