Ingredients

  • 13 oz. package orange pineapple jello
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (1 Tbsp.) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. orange sections
  • 1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale

Instructions

  1. Dissolve orange-pineapple jello in boiling water; stir in orange juice.
  2. Chill until partially set.
  3. Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese.
  6. Add chopped pecans, lemon juice, allspice, and nutmeg to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well.
  7. Gently fold in cranberry sauce and orange sections.
  8. Combine the gelatin with the mixture and stir thoroughly.
  9. Pour into a mold and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Unmold onto a serving platter and serve chilled with ginger ale.
