Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Grease an 8-inch pie pan.
  2. Spread cranberries over the bottom of the pie pan.
  3. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar and walnuts over the cranberries.
  4. Beat the egg until well combined.
  5. Add 1/2 cup sugar to the egg and beat again.
  6. Add flour, melted butter, and shortening to the egg and sugar mixture.
  7. Beat until smooth and well mixed.
  8. Pour the batter over the cranberries in the pie pan.
  9. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 45 minutes.
