Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • juice and grated rind of 1 orange
  • Wesson oil
  • 1 c. raw cranberries
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Put juice and rind of one orange in a cup; finish filling cup to 3/4 full with Wesson oil.
  2. Chop cranberries in half.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix well until fully combined.
  5. Place the mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Bake in the oven at 325°F for 1 hour.
