Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon almond extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 stick oleo (butter)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Grease a pie pan.
  2. Put cranberries in the pie pan and cover with 1/2 cup sugar and chopped walnuts.
  3. Melt the oleo (butter) and add almond extract, remaining sugar, flour, and beaten eggs to it.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cranberries in the pie pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Cool the cake and top with powdered sugar before serving.
