Cranberry Salad(Good)

A vibrant, sweet-tart cranberry salad featuring fresh cranberries, fruit, and nuts, perfect for holiday gatherings or as a refreshing side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. fresh cranberries
  • 2 small pkg. strawberry or cherry Jell-O
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 1/2 c. seeded and cut up grapes
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pt. cottage cheese

Instructions

  1. Cover fresh cranberries with water and cook until they stop popping.
  2. Run the cooked cranberries through a sieve or blend them if desired.
  3. Add strawberry or cherry Jell-O to the cranberries.
  4. Stir in sugar while the mixture is hot and mix well.
  5. Let the mixture cool.
  6. Add crushed pineapple and its juice to the mixture.
  7. Add seeded and cut-up grapes and chopped nuts.
  8. Chill the salad before serving.
