Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Beat egg white until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually beat in brown sugar and vanilla flavoring.
  3. Fold in pecan halves gently.
  4. Place spoonfuls of the mixture on a greased cookie sheet in single layers.
  5. Bake in a 250-degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Turn off the oven and allow the pecans to cool in the oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Break apart the pecans and store in an airtight container.
