Ingredients

  • 13 slices of bread
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 pound Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9x13 inch pan and an 8x8 inch pan.
  2. Tear bread into 1-inch pieces and divide between the two baking dishes.
  3. Sprinkle chopped ham and chopped onion over the bread pieces.
  4. Mix eggs and milk together and pour over the bread and ham mixture.
  5. Melt butter and Velveeta cheese together and pour over the mixture in the pans.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes if using the 8x8 inch pan, or 60 minutes if using the 9x13 inch pan.
