Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb dry cottage cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 package Creamettes lasagna

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce and Italian seasoning to the beef, then simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Creamettes lasagna according to package directions and drain.
  4. In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan, arrange one layer of cooked lasagna strips.
  5. Top with one-third of the meat sauce, one-third of the mozzarella cheese, and one-third of the cottage cheese.
  6. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
