Ingredients

  • 6 flour tortillas
  • 3 cups Jack cheese, shredded
  • 6 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 ounce can chopped green chilies

Instructions

  1. Fill each tortilla with 1/2 cup cheese and 1 tablespoon chopped green onions.
  2. Roll the filled tortillas and place them in an 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, and stir to make a roux.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until a thick sauce forms.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and chopped green chilies until smooth.
  6. Pour the sauce over the rolled tortillas in the baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
