Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sliced bacon
  • 1 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 medium chopped onions
  • 2 medium thin-sliced carrots
  • 4 medium thin-sliced potatoes

Instructions

  1. Place sliced bacon in the bottom of a large pan.
  2. Distribute thin strips of round steak over the bacon in a layer.
  3. Add a layer of chopped onions, sliced carrots, and sliced potatoes on top.
  4. Add water to the pan.
  5. Cover and cook on slow heat for 45 minutes.
