  • 8 oz. chopped dates
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • flaked coconut

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, chopped dates, sugar, and egg in a large saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, Rice Krispies cereal, and chopped pecans.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool until it is touchable.
