- Wash, peel, and slice potatoes to nearly fill a 9x13 inch pan.
- Melt 1 stick of real butter in the pan.
- Add the sliced potatoes to the melted butter.
- Season with salt and seasoned pepper.
- Sprinkle grated cheese (Longhorn and Monterey Jack mix) over the potatoes.
- Cover the pan with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
