Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 lean pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 (10-3/4 oz) can chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine the all-purpose flour, dry mustard, and garlic powder in a shallow dish.
  2. Dredge the pork chops in the seasoned flour mixture and set aside.
  3. Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet and heat over medium heat until hot.
  4. Cook the pork chops in the hot oil until browned on both sides.
  5. In the slow cooker, combine the remaining flour mixture with the chicken broth.
  6. Place the browned pork chops into the slow cooker with the broth mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 hours until the pork chops are tender.
  8. Serve the pork chops with mashed potatoes or your preferred side.
