Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hash browns, thawed
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cream of chicken soup, chopped onion, melted butter, sour cream, and grated Cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the crushed corn flakes with melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the corn flakes mixture evenly over the potato mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or longer until hot and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
