Instructions
- Mix flour and brown sugar together.
- Cut in oleo (butter). Set aside.
- Mix molasses and hot water to which baking soda and vinegar have been added.
- Pour half of the liquid into an unbaked pie shell.
- Add crumbs on top of the liquid in the pie shell.
- Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
