Ingredients

  • 1 cup French green beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup green pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1 can undiluted cream of celery soup
  • pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and place in a baking dish.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup melted margarine with 1 1/2 cups crushed cheese and sliced almonds to make the topping.
  3. Spread the topping evenly over the mixture in the baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
