Ingredients

  • 3 cups flaked coconut
  • 7 tablespoons butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Use a skillet to toast the coconut in butter until golden brown.
  2. Press all but 2 tablespoons of the toasted coconut mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of toasted coconut on top of the pie.
