Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen white bread dough
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 8 oz Cheez Whiz

Instructions

  1. Thaw bread dough in refrigerator overnight.
  2. Cover the dough and let stand on a floured surface at room temperature for 1 hour.
  3. Save 1 tablespoon of beaten eggs for glazing.
  4. Combine remaining eggs, ground beef, bread crumbs, and Cheez Whiz; mix lightly.
  5. Shape the meat mixture into a 9 x 4-inch loaf and place in a shallow baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  7. Drain the cooked meatloaf.
  8. Press the bread dough onto the bottom of a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.
  9. Place the meat loaf in the center of the dough.
  10. Fold the dough ends over the loaf and brush with the reserved beaten egg.
  11. Bake at 350°F until the bread dough is browned.
