Curried Pork With Apples

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless pork steak
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 large Golden Delicious apple, sliced thin
  • 1 1/4 c. apple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. cooked rice

Instructions

  1. In a wok, melt 3 tablespoons butter or margarine and heat to 350°F.
  2. Add pork; cook and stir for 6 minutes.
  3. Remove pork from wok and set aside. Reduce heat to 300°F and melt 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
  4. Add chopped onion; cook and stir for 3 minutes.
  5. Add sliced apple; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
