Ingredients

  • 2 small cabbages
  • 1 green pepper, sliced thin
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Slowly pour the hot mixture over the cabbage and green pepper.
  3. Do not stir immediately.
  4. Let sit about an hour, then stir and refrigerate.
