Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 2 large cans kidney beans
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 package dry chili mix
  • 12 shakes Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry the hamburger in a large skillet until browned, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and green pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the kidney beans and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Slice the whole tomatoes and add them to the mixture.
  5. Add tomato paste and water to reach desired thickness.
  6. Mix in dry chili mix and Tabasco sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then simmer for additional flavor development.
