- Mix slightly the butter and 1/2 cup sugar until combined.
- Do not cream as for cake.
- Add the yolks of 2 eggs, slightly beaten, and the flour; mix well.
- Roll the dough into long finger rolls, then cut into pieces and shape into circles.
- Dip each circle in beaten egg white, then in a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup ground nuts.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
