Danish Spaghetti
Danish Spaghetti is a hearty, cheesy casserole blending pasta with sausage, chicken, ham, spinach, and mushrooms, topped with Velveeta for a creamy, satisfying meal perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 large pkg. spaghetti ⓘ
- 1 ring sausage ⓘ
- 2 cups cooked chicken, bite size pieces ⓘ
- ham as desired, bite size pieces ⓘ
- 1 large onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1 pkg. frozen spinach ⓘ
- 1 carton fresh mushrooms, sliced ⓘ
- 1 medium can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
- 1 small box Velveeta cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Fry chopped onion in a little butter until transparent.
- Add drained cooked spaghetti, sausage, chicken, ham, frozen spinach, sliced mushrooms, tomato sauce, and chili powder to the pan.
- Add some broth to the mixture and stir well.
- Cut Velveeta cheese into small chunks and add to the mixture.
- Add more broth as needed to make the mixture quite soupy.
- Butter a casserole dish and pour in the mixture.
- Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 10 to 30 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
