Daryll'S Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 box jumbo shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (32 oz.) jars Ragu sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • garlic salt
  • Italian seasoning
  • 2 (15-16 oz.) Ricotta cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 1/3 c. Parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Add oil to boiling water.
  2. Cook shells only until flexible (12-15 minutes).
  3. Place in cold water until cool.
  4. Drain.
  5. Brown beef and drain.
  6. Add to Ragu sauce, beef, sugar, garlic salt, Italian seasoning.
  7. Simmer 10 minutes.
  8. Set aside.
  9. Blend Ricotta, Mozzarella, and 1 cup of Parmesan in a large bowl with a mixer. Add eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
  10. Use 2 9x13 inch glass dishes. Place 1/2 cup meat sauce in bottom of pan. Stuff shells with 1 1/2 tablespoons of cheese mix.
  11. Place in single layer on top of sauce.
  12. Top with remaining sauce.
  13. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
  14. Cover with foil.
  15. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until shells are tender.
