- Pre heat oven to 165 degrees.
- Place muffin cases in a muffin pan.
- Place dates into water and bring to boil. Add bicarbonate of soda and butter and stir. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl and add the walnuts, Natvia and egg, then mix in the date mixture.
- Fill each muffin case to 2/3 full and bake for 15-18 minutes. Cool and serve.
- Tips and Tricks If you are after a healthy treat use wholemeal flour and mix with bran or use gluten free flour (if you require). Depending on your taste you can increase or decrease quantity of Natvia.
