  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time to egg whites and salt, beating until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in chopped dates and chopped pecans into the meringue mixture.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
