Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup drained canned salmon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Flake the drained canned salmon.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt, soda) together.
  3. Add the buttermilk slowly to the dry ingredients, then add eggs and beat well.
  4. Combine the mixture with the flaked salmon.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into deep hot fat.
  6. Fry until golden brown.
