- Remove any excess fat from stew beef and slice into small thin pieces.
- Brown the beef in a pan, adding a little meat tenderizer. Strain the fat out.
- Add the recommended amount of water from the mix packet.
- Drain carrots, green beans, and sliced small potatoes.
- Add the stew mix, drained vegetables, and sliced potatoes to the beef.
- Stir slowly on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon each of Mrs. Dash spices.
- Set heat to the lowest possible boiling point, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Uncover and stir until the desired thickness is achieved.
