Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 pounds venison, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil.
  2. Dredge the venison cubes in flour and brown them in the skillet.
  3. Add the onion soup mix and water to the skillet.
  4. Simmer, covered, for an hour or more, until the meat is tender.
  5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and ketchup, heat thoroughly, and serve over noodles or rice.
