Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 cans kidney beans or 1 to 1 1/2 cups pinto beans
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cook and brown beef, onion, chili powder, and salt.
  2. Bring all ingredients to a boil.
  3. Thicken the mixture with cornstarch.
  4. Let simmer for about 30 minutes or longer.
