Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 2 tsp. gravy browning sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 4 to 5 carrots
  • 3 to 4 potatoes
  • 1 can green peas

Instructions

  1. Place the beef stew meat in a slow cooker.
  2. Toss the meat with flour, salt, and pepper to coat.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients: cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, gravy browning sauce (if using), Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, paprika, carrots, potatoes, and drained green peas.
  4. Stir to mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours.
  6. Stir the stew before serving.
