Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. Brussels sprouts
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion
  • 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 3 Tbsp. dry fine bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook Brussels sprouts in boiling water until tender-crisp, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Drain the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced onion, dry mustard, and dried thyme to the skillet.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  6. Add bread crumbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for 1 more minute, stirring to combine.
  8. Add the seasoned mixture to the drained Brussels sprouts.
  9. Shake or stir to coat the sprouts evenly with the mixture.
  10. Cook until desired doneness is reached.
