Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • spaghetti sauce package
  • small can or jar of mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Microwave a whole chicken for 9 to 10 minutes per pound, or cook in water until done.
  2. Saute chopped onions and green peppers in extra virgin olive oil until tender.
  3. Prepare a package of spaghetti sauce according to package directions, substituting chicken broth from cooked chicken instead of water.
  4. Add small can or jar of mushrooms to the sauce and cook for a while.
  5. Add boned, diced cooked chicken to the sauce.
  6. Cook spaghetti separately until al dente, then add to the sauce and combine well.
  7. For leftovers, add Ragu sauce before reheating.
