Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except flour in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add flour gradually to form a stiff dough.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place until light and doubled in bulk.
  4. Knead down the dough and place in a loaf pan.
  5. Let the dough rise again until doubled in size.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 50 minutes.
