Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. onion
  • 1 Tbsp. dill weed
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Mix hamburger, rice, egg, parsley, onion, dill weed, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and brown them in a frying pan.
  3. Add tomato juice, water, and butter to the pan with the meatballs.
  4. Simmer the meatballs in the sauce for 45 to 60 minutes until cooked through.
