Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can creamed corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown and season the ground beef.
  3. Slice the potatoes and onions thinly.
  4. In a 2-quart casserole dish, layer the ingredients starting with the browned beef.
  5. Add a layer of sliced potatoes, followed by sliced onions.
  6. Pour the can of tomatoes over the layers.
  7. Spread the can of creamed corn on top.
  8. Repeat layering if desired.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  10. Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes to brown the top if desired.
