- Break ground meat into chunks and brown in a skillet.
- Drain excess fat from the meat.
- In a greased casserole, layer the browned meat, sliced onion, chopped green pepper, partly drained corn, and sliced tomatoes.

- Once all ingredients are layered, cover the top of the casserole with torn bread pieces.
- Lay bacon pieces on top of the bread layer.
