Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup English walnuts
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients in the order given: melted margarine, sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
  2. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9-inch pie shell, preferably Ritz crackers.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until the top is light brown and a crust forms.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before serving. The pie creates its own top crust during baking.
