Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup fig or strawberry preserves
  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Wesson oil

Instructions

  1. Blend the sugar and eggs until well combined.
  2. Add the preserves, crushed pineapple, salt, soda, and cinnamon; blend until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the sifted flour and Wesson oil, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased Bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
