Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 2 small cans mushrooms
  • 2 cans pinto beans
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 chili powder mix
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 qt. can tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger meat in a large pot.
  2. Saute the chopped onion and bell pepper until tender.
  3. Add the cooked meat, mushrooms, pinto beans, tomato soup, and canned tomatoes to the pot.
  4. Mix in the chili powder and season to taste.
  5. Simmer the chili for 2 hours or more, stirring occasionally.
