Ingredients

  • 24 lb. tomatoes
  • 18 hot banana peppers, ground
  • 12 green peppers, diced
  • 10 large onions, ground
  • 4 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/3 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Peel tomatoes and cut into chunks.
  2. Cook tomatoes, ground hot banana peppers, diced green peppers, ground onions, and minced garlic until desired consistency.
  3. Add sugar, vinegar, and salt to the mixture.
  4. Pour the hot salsa into sterilized pint jars.
  5. Seal the jars.
  6. Process in a hot water bath for 15 minutes.
