Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 8 ounces stale hot dog rolls, finely cubed
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup chicken or turkey stock

Instructions

  1. Saute bacon in a large skillet until almost crisp.
  2. Add onion; cook until bacon is crisp and onion is soft.
  3. Stir in poultry seasoning, celery salt, garlic salt, and onion salt.
  4. Put cubed bread in a large bowl.
  5. Pour bacon mixture and beaten eggs over the bread cubes.
  6. Mix until well blended, using 2 forks.
  7. Add chicken or turkey stock to make a very moist but not wet mixture.
