Double Chocolate Crunch Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in creamed mixture.
  4. Spread mixture in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
  6. Sprinkle marshmallows over hot brownies.
  7. Bake 3 minutes more and cool.
  8. Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat until chips melt.
  9. Stir in cereal.
  10. Spread on cooled bars. Cool before serving.
