Ingredients

  • 7 cups corn flakes, crushed to 1 3/4 cups
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 pounds frying chicken pieces
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Measure crushed corn flakes cereal into a shallow dish or pan and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg and mix with milk.
  3. In another dish, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.
