Ingredients

  • 1 cup lard or butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup canned milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 3 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 375°F until the cookies are done and lightly browned.
