Ingredients
- 3 cups ready-to-use beef broth ⓘ
- 1 (12 oz.) package Irish pork sausage or 1 (8 oz.) package precooked breakfast links, cut in half
- 1 (8 oz.) package thickly sliced bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces ⓘ
- 2 large onions, sliced ⓘ
- 3 pounds red potatoes, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces ⓘ
- 1/2 cup loosely packed parsley leaves ⓘ
- 3 carrots, sliced ⓘ
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine broth, sausage, bacon, and 1 cup water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove sausage and bacon with a slotted spoon.
- Reserve the broth for later use.
