- Set aside.

- Add orange juice, light corn syrup, and melted butter; mix well.
- Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples.
- Arrange the apple slices in the prepared pastry-lined pie plate.
- Pour the sugar mixture evenly over the apples.
- Cover with the remaining pastry, seal edges, and cut slits to vent.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
