Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped pecans ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon ⓘ
- 2 cups flour ⓘ
- 1 cup sugar ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons baking powder ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding ⓘ
- 1 package instant butterscotch pudding ⓘ
- 1 cup water ⓘ
- 3/4 cup cooking oil ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Grease the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Combine brown sugar, chopped pecans, and cinnamon, then set aside.
- In a large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla pudding, butterscotch pudding, water, oil, vanilla, and eggs.
- Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping the bowl occasionally.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture evenly over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter over the first layer.
- Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the top springs back when touched lightly in the center.
