Radish Dip

A refreshing radish dip with creamy yogurt, tangy mayonnaise, and spicy hot sauce, perfect for vegetable platters and healthy snacking, offering a zesty, cool flavor profile.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 cup halved radishes
  • 3 tablespoons reduced calorie mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Spoon plain low-fat yogurt onto several layers of heavy-duty paper towels.
  2. Spread to 1/2-inch thickness.
  3. Cover with additional paper towels and let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Scrape into a small bowl using a rubber spatula and set aside.
  5. Position knife blade in food processor bowl.
  6. Add radishes and pulse 5 times or until coarsely chopped.
  7. Add mayonnaise and the next 3 ingredients and pulse 5 times or until combined.
  8. Add the mixture to the yogurt and stir well.
  9. Cover and chill.
  10. Garnish with sliced radish, if desired.
  11. Serve with assorted vegetables such as steamed asparagus, steamed green beans, carrot strips, sliced yellow squash, and sliced radishes.
